Larimer County Jail Roster Records

The official starting point is the Larimer County Jail inmate search. The page is for people currently in the Larimer County Jail, not for every person with an old arrest, a state prison sentence, or a federal case. It asks the user to type at least two letters of a last name, then select a suggested name and date of birth. No login or fee was shown in the research file. The same county jail data area also links tabs for bookings, releases, the incident blotter, jail population, and transient or homeless bookings.

Larimer County inmate records split by custody stage. Current local custody is searched through the jail roster. Recent arrests may also appear in the booking report, which has arrest-date and arresting-agency filters. A person released from the jail may move to the released-inmates page, which states that release data includes people released eight or more hours ago. Formal court dispositions are not kept by the Sheriff's Office. LCSO says official case disposition comes from Larimer County Court, while sentenced state-prison custody belongs in the Colorado Department of Corrections system.

The county jail page shown in the successful capture is the official hub for jail contacts, bonds, visitation, inmate money, property, and programs. The Larimer County Jail overview page is useful when a roster result has to be paired with bond, communication, or facility instructions.

Use the Larimer County Roster

The current roster is an autocomplete search. It does not work like a broad keyword box. Start with the last name, choose the correct suggested person, then use the booking number, jail ID, charges, bond, agency case number, and court date fields for the next step. If the result is missing, that does not prove the person was never arrested. It may mean the spelling is wrong, the booking is too recent, the person was released, or the person is in a different custody system.

1. Open the official inmate-search page and choose the Search Inmates tab if it is not already active.
2. Type at least two letters of the person's last name. The public suggestion format can include name and date of birth.
3. Select the matching suggestion. This opens the current jail profile tied to that selected name string.
4. Record the Inmate # or booking number. Larimer mail rules require the booking number, and bond or money steps may need the jail ID or inmate number.
5. Review charges, bond type, bond amount, arresting agency, agency case number, and any upcoming court date.
6. If no result appears, check the booking report, the released-inmates page, the jail phone line, LCSO Records, CDOC, BOP, ICE, and VINELink as needed.

Booking timing can lag. The jail FAQ says processing depends on volume and cooperation, and evenings, weekends, and holidays are busiest. A combative person may be held until cooperation is possible. A detoxification hold can also bring someone to the jail as a last-resort safety hold without making the event an arrest.

Larimer County Search Fields

The roster search fields are narrow but useful. Larimer's page uses a public API-backed autocomplete, and the research found related API calls for autocomplete, profile information, court dates, booking reports, and charge detail. Readers do not need the API links to search, but the field design matters because it explains why a full first-name search may fail if the last-name suggestion is not selected.

Larimer County Inmate Profile Fields

A Larimer County inmate profile is a jail-stage record. It can help a family member confirm custody, prepare a bond question, format digital mail, or find a court case number. It should not be read as final proof of guilt or final case outcome. Booking charges may change after the District Attorney reviews the case, and LCSO states that charge-summary records do not include court dispositions.

Larimer County Access Channels

When the roster does not answer the question, use the next channel that matches the record type. The phone route is the jail information and bonding line at (970) 498-5200. In-person custody questions route to the jail front desk at 2405 Midpoint Drive in Fort Collins. Records requests, booking photos, charge summaries, inmate files, CAD notes, 911 audio, and case reports route to the Sheriff's Office Records Department at 2501 Midpoint Drive.

For older local records, the LCSO records page is the fallback. It lists a general records request form, an arrest record or charge summary form, and an inmate file form. The charge summary covers arrests or charges on file with LCSO back to 2005 and requires first name, last name, and date of birth. Inmate files are more limited and are available only to the inmate or representative with a notarized inmate signature.

Larimer research did not find a Sheriff roster or warrant mobile app. GettingOut is an inmate communication app, not the official jail roster. That matters because a communication account does not confirm current custody by itself.

County, DOC, Federal, and ICE Custody

The most common lookup error is using the wrong system. Larimer County Jail holds pre-sentenced detainees, sentenced jail inmates, municipal inmates, people held for other jurisdictions, and certain detoxification holds allowed by law. The Colorado Department of Corrections tracks sentenced state-prison custody. No state prison, BOP prison, ICE detention center, or dedicated federal detention facility was identified as physically located in Larimer County.

Larimer County Jail Facilities

Larimer County has one primary jail roster for local jail custody, plus county-run community corrections and work release programs that are not the same as ordinary jail booking search. Community corrections clients and work release participants may be under court or DOC transition supervision, but a person booked into jail should still be searched through the jail roster first.

Larimer County Booking Records

Booking begins when a person is arrested or surrenders on a warrant or sentence. The jail creates the inmate number, booking date and time, arrest agency data, charge fields, bond fields, and court links when available. People turning themselves in are told to arrive substance-free, bring government ID, court documents, cash for bonding or commissary, necessary medication in the original bottle, and minimal property.

Classification comes after intake. Larimer's population dashboard explains that housing must separate people by sex or gender, juveniles and adults, co-defendants, transgender, transsexual, and intersex inmates, violent people, holds, and other custody needs. That is why capacity and current count are not the same as available housing space. The dashboard sets full capacity at 805 beds and target operating capacity at 604 beds, but a person's profile may not show a public pod or housing unit.

Larimer County Visitation Records

Larimer Jail visitation is video-centered. The official visitation page says inmates are encouraged to keep contact through video visitation, and the jail FAQ says off-site visits are offered seven days a week and initiated by inmates without advance scheduling. The research did not find a public in-person jail visit schedule, so one should not be assumed. Verified attorneys and professional visitors have a separate phone option through the jail.

Video visits are subject to monitoring and recording. Visits may be denied, changed, canceled, ended, or suspended at staff discretion. Visits that conflict with a court appearance or inmate-worker schedule are not honored. Gang-related symbols, vulgar content, nudity, and sexually explicit activity are prohibited.

Contact a Larimer County Inmate

Inmates cannot receive incoming calls, and staff do not pass ordinary messages. Calls from housing areas are collect or prepaid, limited to 15 minutes, and monitored or recorded except verified attorney or professional calls. Forwarded and three-way calls are not allowed. If a protected party has a protection order, related phone numbers may be blocked.

Personal mail is scanned and delivered digitally. The envelope must include the inmate name and booking number, using the BN# format. Larimer County Commissary Funds

Inmate money uses TouchPay / GTL Financial Services. Deposits can be made online through the county's linked vendor, by phone at 1-866-232-1899, or at the lobby kiosk. The facility locator number is 280525, and account setup should select commissary. Checks are not accepted for inmate-account deposit. Mailed checks are returned or placed in property, not deposited.

Research noted a $30 booking fee for every inmate not on a writ and a $10 bonding fee for each case. Inmates receive three meals and general hygiene items free. Extra snacks and specialty hygiene items can be purchased through commissary, and no inmate is denied medical care due to financial status.
